CrossBreed essentially pioneered the hybrid holster design, and the SuperTuck Deluxe remains one of the most recognizable and trusted names in concealed carry. Combining a superb leather backer with a custom-molded Kydex shell, the SuperTuck provides a smart balance of comfort and retention.
However, it didn’t earn my top pick for hybrid holsters (that went to Hidden Hybrid) for a few reasons, which we’ll get to in a moment. Nonetheless, this is still a great holster if you’re interested.

CrossBreed essentially pioneered the hybrid holster design, and the SuperTuck Deluxe remains one of the most recognizable and trusted names in concealed carry.
What We Like: The leather backing conforms naturally to your body over time, spreading out weight and eliminating those pressure points common with fully rigid designs. It’s one of the few holsters that truly feels better the longer you wear it.
Retention is secure and confidence-inspiring, with the molded Kydex providing that reassuring “click” when holstering your Glock. CrossBreed keeps things simple. There’s no extra retention devices or complicated levers to fiddle with, just friction and a snug fit.
The SuperTuck’s dual steel clips definitely help keep the rig rock-solid on your belt. Even if you’re moving around a lot, the holster stays put, providing stability unmatched by single-clip setups. You can adjust the ride height and cant by repositioning these clips, which we appreciate, allowing customization for your preferred draw angle.
One of the SuperTuck’s signature features is its “tuckable” capability (hence the name), making it an excellent choice for office or formal carry. Simply tuck your shirt over the holster, and all that’s visible are the discreet belt clips. It remains one of the better holsters if you regularly need to carry discreetly in dressier attire.
Flaws but Not Dealbreakers: There’s a couple of reasons why we liked Hidden Hybrid over this one.
Firstly, the CrossBreed is somewhat bulkier overall, meaning you might need to size your pants up slightly. It also lacks the versatility of easily switching between IWB and OWB carry, something Hidden Hybrid’s convertible design handles effortlessly.
Additionally, the SuperTuck doesn’t offer adjustable retention screws as standard, so fine-tuning friction can be more limited.
None of these are dealbreakers, necessarily, so if you feel inclined to opt for a Crossbreed holster we think you’ll still be happy with the result.
Bottom Line: If you prefer a classic leather-backed hybrid with a strong track record for comfort and reliability, CrossBreed’s SuperTuck remains an excellent choice, one you won’t regret adding to your concealed carry rotation.
FINAL THOUGHTS ON THE BEST GLOCK HOLSTERS
As you can see, there are a number of excellent Glock holsters available, though there’s no one-size-fits-all answer. It ultimately depends on your carry style, your budget, and what kind of comfort and retention you’re willing to demand from your gear.
At the top of our list, we think the Hidden Hybrid Holsters OWB/IWB is the best. It offers a unique blend of versatility, stability, and comfort that we like.
If you’re on a tight budget though, the We The People IWB gets you in the game for day-to-day carry. If you’re looking for a great IWB holster and have some money to spend, the Vedder LightTuck and Alien Gear Cloak Tuck are also great picks.
If appendix is your thing, we recommend the Tier 1 Axis Elite holster. And of course, nothing beats a good-ole-fashioned leather holster like the Galco Combat Master.
