Returns Policy
You may return most new, unopened items within 30 days of delivery for a full refund. We’ll also pay the return shipping costs if the return is a result of our error (you received an incorrect or defective item, etc.).
You should expect to receive your refund within four weeks of giving your package to the return shipper, however, in many cases you will receive a refund more quickly. This time period includes the transit time for us to receive your return from the shipper (5 to 10 business days), the time it takes us to process your return once we receive it (3 to 5 business days), and the time it takes your bank to process our refund request (5 to 10 business days).
If you need to return an item, simply login to your account, view the order using the “Complete Orders” link under the My Account menu and click the Return Item(s) button. We’ll notify you via e-mail of your refund once we’ve received and processed the returned item.
Shipping
We can ship to virtually any address in the world. Note that there are restrictions on some products, and some products cannot be shipped to international destinations.
When you place an order, we will estimate shipping and delivery dates for you based on the availability of your items and the shipping options you choose. Depending on the shipping provider you choose, shipping date estimates may appear on the shipping quotes page.
Please also note that the shipping rates for many items we sell are weight-based. The weight of any such item can be found on its detail page. To reflect the policies of the shipping companies we use, all weights will be rounded up to the next full pound.
Item Not Received Claims
At CAT Outdoors, we strive to ensure that your orders are delivered promptly and accurately. However, if you do not receive your item despite the tracking information showing it was delivered, please follow the steps below:
- Verify Delivery Location: First, check the order confirmation email provided to confirm that the correct address was specified in the shipping details.
- Check Other Locations: Check any other locations the package might be (the front door, back door, mailbox or even a neighbor’s house).
- Contact Your Local Post Office: Visit your local post office with the tracking information. Request the exact GPS coordinates where the package was scanned as delivered. Although this practice is relatively unknown, the USPS does record GPS coordinates when they deliver a package.
Important Notes:
- We are not responsible for replacing items that were delivered to the correct address as specified in your order.
- We are not responsible for replacing items stolen from your property after delivery (commonly known as porch piracy).
- We are not responsible for items that were accidentally delivered to the wrong address by the postal service.
This policy is in place to prevent buyer fraud, which is all too common in this day and age, and of which we have been victimized by. If your item appears to be lost in transit by the post office, we will send out a replacement at no additional cost to you. Please contact us with the details so we can assist you promptly.
We recommend taking the following precautions:
- Ensure your shipping address is accurate and complete when placing your order.
- Track your package frequently and be available to receive it at the estimated delivery time.
- Consider using delivery instructions or specifying a secure location for package drop-off if you are not available.
Note Regarding Defective Products
We take great pride in the craftsmanship behind our products, but we understand that sometimes we miss the mark. A stitch breaks or a bolt tail doesn’t quite fit in the M-4 tool. We get it. It sucks. We will gladly replace any products deemed to be defective so long as you provide proof of purchase. Typically, just knowing the channel and seller name is sufficient for us. If you bought the tool on Amazon we will require the order # and a screenshot showing the seller name. If you bought it on our website, no sweat. Let us know your order number and we can find that information relatively easy. Don’t know where you bought it? We retain the right to deny replacing your product. Without a proof of purchase we are unable to verify whether your product is legitimate or counterfeit. Believe us, we don’t like this policy, but because of nefarious actors, we have been the victim of counterfeiting. We implemented this policy to avoid continuing to be a victim. We appreciate your understanding.
